To be honest, I think that good resolutions are made not to be kept. But, for once, if I had to recommend one and only one, the one that should set the pace for your thoughts and actions for the years to come, that should completely dictate each of your decisions, here it is: stop thinking about your marketing in one-shot campaigns, think purely and simply about customer relations . Two words that you can make a poster of!

A campaign does not make a strategy
I wanted to talk to you about this to start this new year, because I realize that it is often tempting to think in terms of occasions. We ourselves, on the blog, often give you advice on how to set up actions for sales , Valentine's Day, etc. However, these one-off steps should not be the basis of your marketing strategy. Because basically, doing operations for the sake of doing operations does not create a solid and lasting connection with your customer. Whereas if shopify website design you think community, base, pool of fans, prospects and customers , and you simply ask yourself how to make this live and grow throughout the year, you will have a good chance of obtaining much better results. Both in terms of acquisition, conversion and loyalty.

It is with this in mind that I have prepared some little tips for you!


Managing your database: the foundation of customer relations
For a good customer relationship, there is no secret: CRM is your ally. It allows you to adopt an approach of knowledge and personalization with all those who make it up. It is the house in which you will make your family live, so take care of it.

Segment and personalize your marketing
Segmentation is something that needs to be thought about from the beginning of the relationship. By anticipating the major segments of your customer base, you will be able to orient your marketing and communication towards personalization from the start .



iPhone lover or Android addict? Dry skin or oily skin? Pizza or Tacos? Sedan or sports car?

The more you understand your customers' interests in advance , the more opportunity you will have to hit the mark and convert with timely and tailored commercial offers .

To do this, take advantage of every opportunity (marketing operation, store visit, etc.) to collect data that is very useful for your business.

Remember, mass communication has had its day. Now your customers demand excellence from you in terms of personalization .

This does, however, imply a fundamental condition: stop once and for all multiplying software and data sources without any connection between them . And above all without centralization ... Otherwise, believe me, it is indeed the hell of duplication that awaits you and threatens all the coherence of your speech!
