In Diablo 4 Season 9, some of the most popular builds aren't the ones with the highest damage numbers, but the ones that let players sit back and let the game do most of the work. The so-called “laziest” build this season comes from the Minion Necromancer, a setup that relies almost entirely on summoned allies to handle fights Diablo 4 gold. Outside of moving around and occasionally pressing a button for buffs or positioning, the player barely has to lift a finger. Despite being low effort, the build handles farming and mid-tier content surprisingly well.

The strength of this approach lies in the summoning mechanics. By investing in talents, passives, and gear that push minion damage, durability, and aggressiveness, players can field an army that clears mobs on its own. Seasonal gear in Season 9 makes this even stronger, with bonuses that increase minion power while cutting upkeep costs. With these upgrades, minions stay active almost permanently, letting players skip the usual rotation juggling that other builds require.

What makes this build “lazy” is its resource management and automation. Minions sustain themselves through passives and item effects, while the Necromancer's role is reduced to staying mobile and occasionally throwing out a buff or debuff. Even during tougher events like infernal hordes, banes and boons can be chosen to keep minions strong without frantic key-spamming. It's simple, effective, and friendly to both casual players and those who prefer a more hands-off style of play.

Gear and mythic effects add even more to the low-maintenance design. New legendary and mythic items in Season 9 enhance minion attack speed, grant automatic healing, and add layers of defense, all of which help minions handle harder encounters without needing micromanagement. Players can even prioritize defensive stats over pure damage, trusting their minions to do the heavy lifting while they focus on survival and movement.

On the field, this Necromancer build performs best in nightmare dungeons, infernal hordes, and certain strongholds, where minions can swarm enemies and keep the action flowing. While it won't compete with top-end torment pushing builds, its balance of ease and efficiency makes it perfect for farming or progression at a steady pace. It's especially appealing for players who want to multitask, relax while playing, or just run a low-effort character in co-op.

In short, the laziest auto build in Diablo 4 Season 9 is a Minion Necromancer setup that leans on empowered summons, seasonal gear, and passive automation. It requires very little input but still delivers respectable results, making it one of the most comfortable and accessible options in the current meta Diablo 4 gold buy.
