How to Fix Broken Matching Couple Necklaces?


When it is about jewelry, nothing is more delicate than a chain necklace. One tiny scratch can send the whole thing tumbling down. Don't fret if you've got broken necklace chains. It is possible to fix it yourself.


Take a small piece of wax paper and fold it in half. Then place the broken necklace chain into the wax paper and fold it over. Use a medium-heat hair dryer to melt the wax until it completely covers the chain. Remove the wax paper that is melted and let the chain cool. You're done!

Can a broken necklace Chain Be Fixed?

Every woman has an exquisite necklace in her closet that she doesn't wear because it is fragile and always breaks. But before you get rid of it or continue to try unsuccessfully to fix it with pliers consider this five-step method that will have that necklace back in your rotation in the blink of an eye.


Gather your supplies. You'll require a needle and thread as well as a pair of scissors and a jump ring. A jump ring is a small metal circle with a split. They are easy to close and reopen, making them ideal to repair this issue.


Cut off any excess chain that is at the broken end. You should leave approximately one inch of chain beyond the point at which it broke. Thread your needle, tie a knot at the end of the thread.


Then insert the needle into the jump ring, and then through the chain's end. Pull the thread until the jump ring has reached the end of the chain.


Then, poke the needle through the ring and pull it until you've created an elongated loop. This loop will serve as an additional safeguard to stop your jump ring from slipping open and falling off.


To finish, insert the needle through the loop that you created and then tighten it. You can repeat this step repeatedly as many times you'd like to make sure that your jump ring is secure.


The final step is to trim away any excess thread, being careful not to cut any of the links in your chain. Now that your necklace is repaired, it's ready to wear!


How much will it cost to replace a broken chain on a necklace?
